What is Gluten?
Gluten is a family of proteins that are found in grains and are used for making bread, doughs, crusts, pasta, and so on. In other words, gluten is frequently found in flour. These proteins are great for creating bread doughs and products, as they provide elasticity for the dough to rise and be shaped. Gluten is also known for being what gives these bread products their delicious, chewy texture that we know and love.
