Why Set Goals?
Goal setting may be something you learned about in elementary and high school. It is often instilled in children and teenagers to help them do better academically and plan for their future. As an adult, you may wonder why you should worry about setting goals - after all, maybe you have already gotten where you wanted to in life. But that doesn’t mean you should stop creating goals for yourself.
Setting goals is a great way to help better yourself. It is a way to work on improving your body, mind, and the situations in which you find yourself each day. Setting goals can actually change your mindset toward yourself and your environment, and encourage you to make good, healthy choices. Setting goals improves both mental and physical well being and gives you something to strive for and work towards.
